001.jpgWe'll be helpful, sympathetic and understanding, and provide (we hope) knowledgeable answers to any query you might raise.

What is this service we provide? Quite simply, we are mortgage advisors. We do not lend mortgage money ourselves but we seek out for you the most suitable facility available according to your specific needs and circumstances. And apart from very exceptional circumstances we charge no fees whatever for our services as we are remunerated by the lenders.

There are scores of individual mortgage lenders operating in the country at present  If you could somehow visit every single one of them (think of the shoe leather alone) obtain their product packs, stagger home with these (trying to count how many trees have been sacrificed to produce such a mass of paper) and then settle down to read all the brochures, consider the claims of each, read through all the small print ... do you get the picture!

We've been there, done all that for you! Our computerised mortgage sourcing systems contain the facilities of every lender operating. Once we have discussed your specific requirements we will locate and recommend the most suitable lender and product for you - you as an individual. So, contacting us is just the same as if you were physically able to visit every lender in the country and compare all their products. It really is!

Hard though it is to appreciate, an enquiry made with Inter City is passed to every lender in the country immediately, to ensure that every enquirer receives the best possible advice according to individual circumstances

AND THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THIS ALL EMBRACING, COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE IS NORMALLY AVAILABLE TO YOU ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE!

Unlike many Mortgage Advisors operating today, we do not charge extortionate fees for what is often a very restricted service from poor quality so called 'advisors'. All of those advising you at Mortgages for All are qualified not only through the completing of numerous specialist examinations, but also (often equally if not more important) have had considerable experience in the mortgage advisory field. And of course, we are a long established company of nearly 40 years standing - and if our service had not been proved over and over again down through the years to many satisfied clients we would not be in business today! It will be appreciated that to provide what we frankly consider is a service unlikely to be surpassed by any similar organisation, we have to bear considerable costs. Apart from normal staff salaries, office costs and the like and the normal expenditure involved in running any business, we have to provide and maintain expensive mortgage sourcing systems for example, which enables us to source the entire mortgage market on your behalf, and the ever escalating costs of regulation and compliance procedures designed by the authorities to protect your interests have to be paid for.

man & woman shaking hands.gif Apart from all of this - and much more - we, at Inter City, always endeavour to 'go the extra mile' in dealing with our clients and the fact that some 70% of all the business we complete on a daily basis results from recommendations from other clients, speaks volumes, we feel.

How can we operate without making a charge?

Certainly not by giving an inferior service!

We spend a lot of time dealing with every enquiry we receive. Very occasionally, it is obvious that we can be of no help at all, but we still spend time advising, and very often counseling enquirers and suggesting possible alternative courses of action.

We do, of course, receive a fee from the lenders with whom we place our client's business.

In addition, very often it is apparent that clients for whom we have arranged mortgage finance have other needs - mortgage protection insurance for example, and again we will receive a commission from Insurers with whom we place this business

But the main reason we do not to have to charge fees is that the very great bulk of our business comes as the result of recommendations from satisfied clients - which means that we do not have to spend excessive amounts on expensive advertising.

What else do I need to know?

Please see 'frequently asked questions ' which you may find of help. Skim through this and see if the particular matter which concerns you is dealt with there. We've tried to make this section as comprehensive as possible, but quite obviously we cannot cover everything. Indeed no matter how good a web site might be, and however much information we might endeavour to give, there is ultimately - even in this technological age - no substitute for a chat over the 'phone! However, we do give you the option of contacting us in any way you wish - please see the 'how to contact us ' link.
